A calculated game behind Japanese intrusions

On May 26, the Japanese fishing boat Shishi illegally entered China's territorial waters off the Diaoyu Islands. China Coast Guard vessels expelled it according to the law. The exact same vessel intruded one year ago and was driven away.
But Shishi is only the tip of the iceberg, since Japan's so-called "nationalization" of the islands in 2012, such intrusions have occurred dozens of times each year. Meanwhile, Japan is revising its National Security Strategy and strengthening its southwestern islands defense. The timing is no coincidence.
The Diaoyu Islands are China's inherent territory. Infringement will not be tolerated.
