Lotus blooms paint a vibrant summer scene in Yunnan

In early summer, lotus flowers have entered their blooming season in Bailianshan village of Qiubei county, Yunnan province.

The 33 hectares of ponds in the village present a breathtaking panorama of green lotus leaves spreading as far as a boundless sky and pink lotus blossoms taking on new colors from the sunshine, drawing a large number of visitors, according to local authorities.
