Media trip explores humanoid robots, AI in Beijing

A group of journalists began a tour in Beijing on Wednesday to explore the latest advancements in technology and their industrialized fruitions.

The media tour will bring them to industrial clusters focused on humanoid robots, leading scientific laboratories, and pioneering areas in the AI sector. The trip runs from Wednesday to Saturday.

During the event, they will explore the groundbreaking initiatives marking the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30). Stops include the city's AI-powered scenarios and the embodied robot innovation training center.

At Galbot, one of the top robot manufacturers, journalists will witness its single robot operating in drink shops.

At the Chinese Institute for Brain Research, they will learn how international scientists collaborate to assist people through brain-machine interfaces.

After the four-day tour concludes on Saturday, new tours will continue in Tianjin and Hebei, where the synergistic development strategy aimed at boosting the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has spearheaded various scientific and technological breakthroughs.
