How do robots learn to see, think and act?

By Yan Dongjie, Liu Tianyun, Guo Jiatong | chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2026-06-16 12:38

In northern China's port city of Tianjin, a Chinese embodied AI company has developed an integrated "Eye-Brain-Hand" system that enables robots to see through sensors, think with AI models and act with robotic arms.

The technology is already being used across logistics, automotive manufacturing, heavy industry and new energy sectors. In one automotive inspection scenario, a process that once took three to four hours can now be completed in just over 10 minutes.

From factory floors to future real-world applications, embodied AI is emerging as a new driver of China's intelligent manufacturing, helping make production safer, smarter and more efficient.
