DFSK, the new energy vehicle brand under Seres Group, has unveiled the right-hand-drive version of its E5 PLUS at the 2026 International Automotive & Supply Chain Expo in Hong Kong, marking a key step in the company's global expansion strategy.

The launch extends the E5 PLUS product lineup and underscores DFSK's push to evolve into a global provider of intelligent, green mobility solutions tailored to local market needs.

The RHD debut follows the model's rollout in North Africa and South America, with DFSK now accelerating its international footprint through strengthened regional operations and ecosystem development.

The company said its automated manufacturing facilities in Indonesia and Vietnam will support faster response to localized demand.

"The E5 PLUS marks the beginning of a comprehensive renewal of our product portfolio," said Amy Gong, president of DFSK.

"We will continue to strengthen our capabilities in technology and intelligent innovation, accelerate global expansion, deepen local operations, and deliver more competitive products and services for greener, smarter mobility experiences worldwide."

The E5 PLUS is built on the SERES Super Hybrid System, designed to optimize energy management across varying road conditions, delivering a combined WLTP driving range of up to 1,200 km.

The RHD intelligent driving variant is equipped with a driver assistance system featuring 5 mm-wave radars and 22 sensing units, alongside a 540-degree surround-view system to enhance safety and convenience.

DFSK said the model has been specifically optimized for right-hand-drive markets, particularly in Southeast Asia, with adaptations to local road conditions, climate, and user behavior.

Functions such as Lane Centering Control and Adaptive Cruise Control have been calibrated for regional driving scenarios.

The infotainment system supports multiple local languages, including Thai, Indonesian, Malay and Vietnamese, and integrates with ecosystems such as Apple CarPlay and Spotify.

The E5 PLUS RHD will be gradually introduced in markets including Indonesia and China's Hong Kong.

DFSK said it is also building a new global service framework covering network capability, operations, talent, technical support and parts supply, supported by digital service systems aimed at improving aftersales reliability.

With an expanding NEV lineup and strengthened service infrastructure, DFSK said it aims to reinforce its position in global markets and contribute to the development of sustainable mobility worldwide.
