New Zealand film industry enhancing relations with Beijing's Shijingshan district

The 10th China-New Zealand Film Carnival opens on Friday evening in Shougang Park, which has been transformed from a steel mill in Beijing, and will run until June 29. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

Zhong Mianmian, the district's deputy director, said, "The district is empowering the film industry with cutting-edge technologies, leveraging cultural strength from its industrial heritage."
