Jamaican ambassador: Why all eyes should be on China

Arthur Williams, Jamaican ambassador to China, recently told China Daily's Global Lens that China's remarkable development stems from the distinctive path it has forged independently.

"The most important feature of China's development is that it has set a clear path for development and established a program for achieving its goals. All of China follows the model, hence the success of China in their growth and development, lifting people out of poverty. It is a salutary lesson for my country and others to follow," Williams said.

He made the remarks while attending "A day of intangible cultural heritage experience for diplomats in China".
