50th anniversary: Tangshan honors victims of devastating 1976 quake

People from all walks of life gathered at a memorial park in Tangshan, North China's Hebei province, to mark the 50th anniversary of the Tangshan earthquake.

On July 28, 1976, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit Tangshan, leaving more than 240,000 people dead and over 160,000 injured.
