Nostalgic canteen opens at new China FAW Museum in Changchun

The museum was built from the FAW tool factory building, established in 1953. The original red brick walls and giant steel truss industrial style have been preserved. The canteen recreates the factory's dining hall design from the 1950s to the 1980s. Slogans adorn the walls, and retro enamel utensils and vintage menu boards restore the living scenes of the old factory area.

Furthermore, the canteen has introduced a series of dishes that incorporate elements from the Changbai Mountain region and automotive industry symbols into pastries and desserts, including car model cakes and snacks in the shape of the mountain's silhouette.
