China warns against US' threats to Cuba

The United States should immediately stop threatening the use of force against Cuba and stop any form of unilateral sanctions and blockade against the country, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Friday.

Mao made the remarks following reports that the US is planning military operations against Cuba, including a blockade, air strike, and ground invasion.

China will continue to firmly support Cuba in defending international sovereignty and opposing external interference, and work with all sides to safeguard international fairness and justice, she said.
