Qinghai is also home to Hoh Xil (Kekexili) Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its vast high-altitude wilderness. The province is home to Tibetan, Hui, Tu, Salar, Mongolian, and Han communities, whose traditions include Regong art, Qinghai embroidery, and the folk songs known as Hua'er.

Zhang Li, director of the China National Tourist Office in London, described the artist's journey through the image of a tree, saying: "Qinghai gave her roots, Guangzhou and Hong Kong gave her branches, and London allowed her to grow new leaves."

Zhang Li said the tourism promotion was a natural continuation of the exhibition.

"This Qinghai cultural and tourism promotion was not simply an event added after the exhibition, but its most natural continuation," he said.
