On Wednesday, reporters visited the Taiwan-themed Town in Pingtan, Fuzhou, Fujian province. At the heart of the town lies the Pingtan Duty-Free Commodity Trading Market for Small-Scale Trade with Taiwan, which offers tariff exemptions on 50 types of products across seven major categories.

The town will further integrate resources to build a unique cultural, commercial, and tourism complex with distinct Taiwan characteristics, deepening the integration of cultural tourism and trade between Fujian and Taiwan.

Zhu Jingyi contributed to the story.
