Peng welcomes Kyrgyz performers to visit China
In order to give Chinese audiences a closer look at Kyrgyzstan's rich ethnic culture, Peng Liyuan, wife of President Xi Jinping, extended welcome on Tuesday to Kyrgyz artists to visit China for more performances and cultural exchanges.
Peng made the remarks while watching a stage performance at the Enesay Reception House with spouses of other leaders attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit 2026 in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. She noted that the performance was wonderful and praised the performers for their outstanding artistry.
The show was part of the activities organized on Tuesday morning by Aigul Japarova, wife of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, for spouses of relevant leaders.
Upon her arrival at the Ala-Archa State Residence, Peng was warmly greeted by Japarova. Peng and the others also viewed an exhibition on the ethnic culture of Kyrgyzstan and posed for group photos.
