Traditional ethnic sports take center stage at Hunan games

Held every four years since 1986, the games represent the highest-level and most widely attended sporting event for minority ethnic groups in Hunan, playing a crucial role in preserving and promoting traditional ethnic sports and strengthening unity among diverse groups.

This year's event, which runs until Oct 24, has attracted 3,521 participants from 31 delegations representing cities and prefectures across the province, marking the highest attendance in the history of the games.
