Photographers document modernization, ecology in Jiangsu's Jianhu county

Jianhu is the birthplace of Huaiju Opera and Jianhu Acrobatics, both intangible cultural heritage. It has been recognized as one of the country's first practical bases for modernization of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, and a national model county for ecological civilization construction.

Participants included journalists from People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, Guangming Daily, Economic Daily, China Daily, and others from provincial and municipal news outlets.
