On Wednesday, a group of Italian bloggers sampled Yunnan coffee in Kunming and were instantly won over by its rich flavor.

Luigi Farrauto, a journalist for Lonely Planet Italy, took a sip of the coffee and praised it as delicious in Chinese.

Valentina Raso, an Italian travel and food content creator, echoed this sentiment, expressing love for the coffee.

Yunnan coffee has been gaining traction among international consumers in recent years. According to Kunming Customs, in the first nine months of 2026, Yunnan exported 490 million yuan ($73.45 million) of coffee and related products, reaching 42 countries and regions, including Vietnam, Malaysia, and Germany.

Farrauto and Raso, along with other European bloggers, explored Kunming from Tuesday to Thursday. They are now continuing their journey through Pu'er and Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture from Friday to Monday, where they are immersing themselves in the local cuisine, breathtaking landscapes, and distinct cultural heritage.
