Ding ware is on view during the Spring Festival holiday. Produced at the Ding kilns in Hebei province, the white porcelain was considered one of the "five great wares" of the Song Dynasty (AD 960-1279).
Ding ware is famous for the ivory-white or creamy-white color of the majority of its products and was used in the imperial court.
