Detour to reduce flight delays

Nearly 60 flights will begin a detour around Beijing as of Wednesday in the latest attempt by China's civil aviation authority to reduce flight delays, Beijing News reported on Sunday. The flight schedule in the nation's northern airspace will be adjusted to relieve heavy air traffic in Beijing, officials with Civil Aviation Administration of China said.
