Beijing is busy preparing for the first phase of the World Tourism Cities Experience Center. Trial operation will begin on Sept 12. The experience center will open to the public during the National Day holiday, Oct 1-8. The first tourism experience center will not only enhance Beijing’s image but also stimulate tourism development.
The center has four functions. First, it provides a public service base for Beijing residents and tourists. Second, it plays a supporting role in developing tourism. Third, it displays high-tech products. Fourth, it enhances international exchange.
Among these excellent functions, the third is the most important. Hi-tech products help attract tourists. In particular, 3D and 4D technologies make the scenery alive . The center will be more conducive to old people and give them the chance to enjoy exotic scenery without leaving Beijing.
The center also offers services for potential tourists who are making travel plans. Travel agencies will also have the opportunity to promote their travel products.
