Wangfujing Street, famous for its shops, has become the most expensive commercial center on the Chinese mainland, the Beijing Business News reported. The rent for commercial property averages $436 per square inch annually, placing it among the top 10 commercial sites in the Asia-Pacific region, the newspaper said, quoting figures from a report by Cushman & Wakefield.
