Quality food meets quality chocolate at Conrad Beijing, which teams up with high-end Belgian chocolatier Godiva to launch a Godiva afternoon tea set. The hotel's executive chef Emmanuel Souliere and Godiva chocolate master chef Phillipe Daue have come together to create a tea menu. Highlights are chocolate macaron with fresh raspberries, classic chocolate rum truffle cake, dark chocolate mousse, and Godiva chocolate and caramel tartlet. The hotel has also prepared a selection of three kinds of sandwiches, besides traditional plain and raisin scones, served with cream and jam. A selection of Twinings loose leaf tea or coffee is served with the desserts.
