Highway charges halted for holidays

Highways in the capital will open for free during the seven-day Spring Festival holiday, which starts on Jan 31, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport said on Wednesday. But expressways in the city will not operate toll-free on Lunar New Year's Eve, it said.
