A large number of people visited Beijing's Yonghe Temple on the first day of 2014 to pray, Mirror Evening News reported. The so-called Lama Temple opened at 8:45 am, but people began lining up at the temple's gate at 6 am. By 10:30 am, it had received 11,000 prayers.
