Anyone can be an artist. That is the message from the exhibition Our Life and Happiness, that displays about 400 paintings drawn by people from various walks of life. The show consists of three parts: paintings by children, paintings by the elderly and paintings by celebrities outside the art world. Pictures drawn by the elderly reflect their life experiences-their post-retirement depression or the loss of their spouses. Some paintings are the work of sports stars, TV hosts and entrepreneurs. The show will tour to other cities in China at a later date.
9 am-5 pm, Mondays closed, until Feb 15. Chinese Museum of Women and Children, 9 Beijige Lu (Road), Dongcheng district, Beijing.
