Village leaders plead guilty in corruption case

Two Beijing officials entered guilty pleas on Tuesday in court, where they face charges of taking almost 10 million yuan ($1.65 million) in bribes, Beijing Times reported on Wednesday. Guo Wen and Rong Jun, village leaders in the capital's Fengtai district, were suspected of taking 9.97 million yuan from home demolition projects, the report said.
