Bank branch head confesses to bribes

Han Lifeng, former president of Beijing Rural Commercial Bank's branch in Pinggu district, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to taking more than 13 million yuan ($2.1 million) in bribes from two real estate companies, according to the Beijing Times. Prosecutors said Han provided benefits for the two corporations, such as helping them get loans.
