Universal Studios confirmed on Thursday that the company will build a Hollywood movie theme park in Beijing.
The park will be its third Asian location after Singapore and Osaka and will cover about 20.6 hectares of land in Beijing's eastern suburb of Tongzhou. Construction is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of this year. The park, which is expected to open in 2018, will cost approximately $2 billion.
