Beijing's Miyun county has started a number of wonderful educational activities including painting, paper cutting and clay sculpture making in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, in order to develop students’ interest in the arts, xinhuanet.com reported on March 18.
The county has been recognized by the Ministry of Education as a demonstration pilot in promoting the balanced development of students' abilites during their compulsory education.
