The 22nd China Content Broadcasting Network Exhibition (CCBN 2014) opened at China International Exhibition Center in Beijing on March 20, with cutting-edge products including a next-generation TV router.
The router, designed by Beijing United Technologies Inc, will enable cable television operators to provide DVB+OTT service - digital video broadcasting with over-the-top content - a method for operators to stream content over the Internet without traditional set-top boxes.
The router will allow mobile phones, tablet computers, laptops, smart TVs and other digital devices to safely connect to the Internet and receive TV signals at the same time.
