The city of Beijing recently launched its first software enterprises incubation base in Tsinghua Tongfang Science Park in the core area of Zhongguancun Science Park, Beijing Daily reported.
Different from other incubation bases that are scattered around Zhongguancun, the software incubation base has a total of 14,300 square meters for companies that specialize in next-generation internet technologies.
The base will provide professional services in industrial authorization and certification, such as the authorization and testing platform for the next-generation internet.
Beijing is home to a number of IT enterprises that engage in technological innovation and the number will continue to grow with governmental support.
The companies will benefit from the base since these small and medium-sized enterprises can share resources in many fields, such as marketing, financing and industrialization, according to a representative from the Zhongguancun Science Park, Haidian Sub-Park.
In addition, the base will provide equity investment to tenants within the area. There will also be an advisory group that consists of technical experts, investment advisors, management consultants, and experts on policies to help companies improve their decision-making.
Enterprises will enjoy preferential policies on enterprise registration and house rents as well.
