Uygur mother's story goes to silver screen

A movie telling the true story of an unusual mother and her children in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region premiered on Tuesday at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The movie, True Love, depicts the life of a mother from the Uygur ethnic group who spent years feeding 19 children from different areas and ethnic groups, according to Xinjiangnet.com. The film will be available nationwide on May 22.
