A woman has been awarded 120,000 yuan ($19,206) in compensation after being injured when she fell into an elevator shaft, Jinghua Times reported on Tuesday.
The woman, surnamed Yu, 29, an employee at a beer factory in the city, fell into the shaft, which was being repaired, on April 25, 2013. Yu sued the elevator factory, saying it had not displayed a warning sign.
