Sixty unaccredited universities were revealed recently by sdaxue.com, a website that provides information on colleges, Legal Daily reported on Monday.
According to the site's recent list of China's unaccredited universities issued, the 60 colleges are located in 19 provinces and municipalities, 15 of which are in Beijing.
The unaccredited schools offer fraudulent certificates and make money by luring students who scored poorly on the national college entrance exam but still hope to get a college education.
