A driver ran over and killed a thief who robbed him on an expressway, and police said the driver bore no responsibility, Beijing Times reported on Monday.
The thief, surnamed Meng, robbed a truck driver at about 1 am on Sept 2, 2010, and was killed when he tried to flee to a car. After an investigation, police said Meng was illegally on the expressway, where only vehicles were allowed to go.
