China's second national Biennial Exhibition on Modern Craft Arts will open in the National Museum of China in Beijing on Dec 6.
The two-week exhibition, launched by the China National Academy of Arts, is a showcase for the country's highest-level craft work. This event will focus on how to combine fine art and techniques needed for protection of intangible cultural heritages.
About 400 pieces of work from 200-odd national-level craft art masters and heritage inheritors will be the highlight. Academic symposiums will also be organized during the exhibition.
The first exhibition was held in Beijing in 2012.
