A farewell ceremony was held at Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery in Beijing on Jan 10, 2015 for He Zhenliang, former International Olympic Committee (IOC) member and vice president. Nearly one thousand people gathered to bid farewell to him.
He Zhenliang, who was known for his irreplaceable role in China's successful bid in the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, died on Jan 4, 2015 in Beijing at the age of 85.
