The Fifth Beijing International Film Festival will take place from April 16-23, 2015, to promote China's film industry, exchange, trade and cooperation with its foreign counterparts.
A series of activities, including an opening ceremony, a film panorama, forums, and a closing & award ceremony are on the agenda. The organizing committee confirmed in January that Marco Müller, Italian movie critic, historian, film history documentary director and screenwriter, will be the General Advisor of the event along with his team to make the event more international and professional.
The Film Festival has attracted more than 10,000 guests and millions of participants since its debut in 2011, serving as a window for Chinese movies to go global and contributing to more international exchanges.
The event is hosted by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the People's Republic of China and Beijing Municipal Government.
