Beijing tourist centers are offering three one-day trips to Yanqing county during the International Labor Day holiday, from May 1 to 3.
One of them, Wild Duck Lake, is the largest wetland reserve in Beijing. The Songshan Forest Park is rich in fauna and flora and the Guyaju (Cave Settlement) is the biggest group of caves where prehistoric people lived. The Longqing Gorge is the county's signature tourist destination.
Visitors can buy tickets at www.visitbeijing.com.cn or www.83531111.com. They can also buy tickets at Qianmen stop, where buses head for the tourist destinations.
Three one-day trips:
1. Wild Duck Lake and Songshan Forest Park
The bus sets off at 8:00 am on every Saturday and odd dates during national holidays from May 1 to Oct 10.
The package (including round trip fare, tickets and lunch) is 155 yuan for adults, 125 yuan for students and seniors between 60 and 65, and 85 yuan for those above 65.
2. Wild Duck Lake and Guyaju (Cave Settlement)
The bus sets off at 8:00 am on every Sunday and even dates during national holidays from May 2 to Oct 10.
The package (including round trip fare, tickets and lunch) is 145 yuan for adults, 125 yuan for students and seniors aged between 60 and 65 and 85 yuan for those aged above 65.
3. Longqing Gorge
The bus sets off at 8:00 am on every Saturday and Sunday as well as during national holidays from May 1 to Oct 10.
The package (including round trip fare) is 60 yuan per person.
