Rare snow-covered landscape near Beijing

There was a sudden snowfall on the tops of Haituo Mountain and Yudu Mountain in Yanqing county, in the northwest of Beijing, on May 9, thanks to lower temperatures, overcast skies, and rainy weather.

The Yudu Mountain scenic spot, which is dotted with dark green trees, had large patches of ice in parts of it where there are streams so that people could enjoy the rare snow-covered peak in May and the fresh air.
