Zach was born in Washington D.C. and has been studying in China for 18 months. Before heading back to the US to attend college, the 19-year-old went on a motorcycle journey in China. From Beijing to Kashi in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Zach was surprised by the breath-taking scenery and hospitable local people. Although he suffered an accident and had to undergo surgery on his way back to Beijing, this brave young man still plans to saddle up again drive his bike from Beijing to London next year when he returns. This is his story.
