After the overall second child policy is conducted, how are the difficulty parents face getting their children into kindergartens and pre-school education problem addressed?
Shen Yurong, a kindergarten headmaster with 33-year-preschool educational experience, made up her mind this year to submit a proposal of how to better train kindergarten teachers in the response to the second child policy.
“In the wake of the second child policy’s adoption, preschool education is in higher demand, carrying out faculty training and improving integrated service of 0-6 child nursery and kindergarten is a must,” Shen Yurong said without preamble. “Faculty training shall consist of pre-career and in-career trainings, namely practical –oriented knowledge foundation that better meets the demand in real infant education. It shall be extremely focused on presently.”
In addition, Shen suggested hourly kindergarten and half-day kindergarten should be built to deal with the challenge raised by the overall second child policy to some families.
