The fourth China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services, which is also known as the Beijing Fair, is due to be open on Saturday and will welcome about 1,000 domestic and overseas companies, and more than 20,000 visitors to share their experiences in 12 trade and services sectors. Hot topics will include convention and exhibition services, international medical services, design services and language translation services.
An exhibition area that will highlight the coordinated development progress of China’s Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will be launched at the fourth China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services, which will be held from May 28 to June 1 at the China National Convention Center.
It will be the first time that the region has had a joint exhibition area at the fair.
As Beijing, and Zhangjiakou, in Hebei province, prepare to co-host the 2022 Winter Olympics, winter sports and the 2022 Winter Olympics will be the main theme of the exhibition, according to the Beijing Sports Bureau, one of the hosts of the fair. About 30 percent of the exhibitors will be related to winter sports, covering fields such as venue operation, investment and professional clubs, the host said.
A symposium will also be held to discuss topics such as business opportunities that the coming Winter Olympics will bring to the winter sports sector, and trends in international winter sports.
At the exhibition area for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions, visitors can see the achievements made and business cooperation in sectors such as e-commerce, culture innovation and Chinese traditional medicine since the establishment of the comprehensive innovation and reform pilot areas. Conferences and seminars focusing on environmentally friendly projects, the design industry, finance, culture exchange and professional education will also be held to promote regional cooperation.
Focusing on the idea of a “movable convention and exhibition”, the convention and exhibition areas will see many mobile internet enterprises and platforms introduce their products and services, with the aim of exploring the use of internet technologies in developing the convention and exhibition sector.
