The 4th China Beijing International Fair For Trade In Services (CIFTIS) opened on May 28th. Hundreds of enterprises and organizations from Germany, Egypt and more than 25 other countries attended. IBM, America Global Fund, Zhongshanghuimin, Elong and 35 projects signed contracts with a total value of 150 billion yuan.
The distribution services sector focused on "reform of the supply side" and "internet plus", and offered a theme of "distribution services leading a new revolution", expressing the effect of developments in "new supply", "new needs", and "new circulation".
Organizers explained that "new supply" refers to the concept of supply side as affected by "China make 2025" and the "Internet plus action" plans.
In "new need" part, with the continuing growth in national income, accelerating urbanization and demographic change, people demand higher quality, more choice, more value, and more convenience in areas of traditional consumption. So, this part displayed growth and changes in consumption of services, information, green services and fashion.
"New circulation" refers to the combined transportation network of freighter, cars and planes, and other advanced high-speed converged information networks. Big data, cloud computing, e-commerce, cross-border electricity suppliers and other developments in business have laid a solid foundation for new circulation.
There were four panels in the background area displaying development features in Chaoyang district, One belt, One road areas, the integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei regions, and the "China business district Alliance".
The distribution services sector exhibition used a light box, LCD TV and LED screen as its main carrier. Video, graphics, data flow, information mapping, and interactive applications was the exhibition's language, but newer terms, such as "AI intelligence engine", "high-tech virtual reality VR" and others of a real-time interactive nature strengthened the sense of participation and experience for visitors.
