According to the agenda and rules, 100 cultural creative projects nominated to the competition were assigned to ten sub-divisions depending on their categories, and compete in different locations. Thus, cultural education and sports presented in the Dongcheng Cultural Talents Innovation Service Park, creative design will be evaluated in the Xicheng Cultural Innovation Park, the radio, film and television section will be heard in Haidian Datang Innovation Hub, the cultural trade and tourism competition in Fengtai Zoom Tech, animation & games in Shijingshan 91 Mass Innovation Space, the general section in Changping Hui Plus Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community and the ads and media section in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.
In the ten sub-divisions, the competition will narrow its hopefuls down to the top 30 contestants, who will compete in the semi-final. More than half of the competitors will be eliminated by direct elimination or Internet voting. Most participants will compete for the 20 places at the roadshow site, and 20 others will fight for another 10 places to be awarded through Internet voting.
Audiences can take part in question & answer sessions, and even win a lucky draw with a prize of a ticket for the final.
More than 100 representatives from strategic partners of the competition, scholars in the culture creative field, famous investment agencies and entrepreneurs were present at the event.
The competition kicked off on May 28 and the final competition and award presentation ceremony will be held on August 28.
In order to respond to the call of “Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship” raised by Premier Li Keqiang, the competition aims to find the rising unicorns with the highest investment value, and entrepreneurs and projects with high potential in the culture creative industry to drive the rapid development of Beijing’s culture creative industry.
Guided by the city’s publicity department and its Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office, the competition is sponsored by the Beijing Cultural and Creative Industry Promotion Center and hosted by Oriental Jiacheng Cultural Industry Development Co., Ltd.
