For the overseas extension of Luo Baobei, Dave Ingham, an award-winning writer and animator who wrote for Charlie & Lola, Shaun the Sheep and Octonauts, has been invited to join the team as the main writer. Jian Ninghui, a senior executive for Nickelodeon and Disney Channelm, has also joined the team as executive producer.

The revised vision of Luo Baobei will launch publically during the Spring Festival of 2017 on Kaku Channel and Youku.
