Liu Xinmin, chief architect at New H3C Group innovates big data technology
“From data center and cloud computing to big data, for each transition and expansion in our company, Liu Xinmin has helped to secure the achievement with his solid theoretical research and rich practical experience,” said You Xuejun, CTO of New H3C Group, a world-leading provider of IT solutions.
For the past 16 years, Liu Xinmin has been busily engaged in research into data centers, cloud computing and big data, and has applied for nearly 20 patents.
He, together with his team, has solved the difficulties in converging cloud and networks, and in virtual computing.
For a long time, Cisco, an US-headquartered IT producer, was a world leader in data-centered network technology, and enjoyed a superior market share.
Liu and his team creatively researched the sector, and made breakthroughs at various levels, including improvements in performance, continuous operation and safety protection.
Liu’s product has now overtaken Cisco’s in several tests and become the new domestic market leader.
From 2012 to 2014, Liu served as the architect of the group’s cloud computing product. Through a technical convergence of the cloud and network, he solved a bottleneck in the virtualization environment and formed a unique EVB solution.
In 2016, Liu’s team achieved another breakthrough in research and development of big data. The new product -- DataEgine -- has passed the 2016 big data basic ability test initiated by the Data Center Alliance.
