Completed and opened to traffic at the end of last month, Guang Qv road will forge a new landmark, called “capital agricultural and cultural twin bridges”, linking the National Cultural Industry Pilot Zone with a Beijing sub-center (Tongzhou district).
Ten obsolete silos, located in Silon International Cultural and Innovative Park, will be “lighted” by laser spot projection to showcase a promotional video during the 11th China Beijing International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo (ICCIE).
The head of the pilot zone said, “Silon International Cultural and Innovative Park, formerly known as Beijing Shengli Cement storehouse, possesses industrial remains and 30 year-old industrial buildings, including 46 silos, railways and workshops.”
In addition, a new media art exhibition will be held during the expo.
