A press conference of the "French Tech Tour Beijing" was held on Nov 4 at Zhongguancun Innoway, at which 11 French innovative emerging enterprises conducted a roadshow.
The 11 roadshow programs covered various business sectors involving semiconductors, e-commerce and medical care. The newly-established French firms have performed their latest research and development achievements in those areas and received recognitions from Chinese experts and investors.
During the event, Innoway acted as a bridge for technological companies in China and France to exchange innovative ideas and learn from each other and helped attract French enterprises to settle in China.
The Zhongguancun Innoway started cooperation with Business France in a "China-France innovation accelerator" activity in 2015. In October the Large Enterprise Opening Innovation Alliance was established at the Innoway, which French Telecom and Electricite De France immediately joined.
In addition, the Zhongguancun Innoway held a China-France technological innovation cooperation forum with the Paris Region Economic Development Agency on Nov 2.
A representative of Innoway said this cooperation has helped French enterprises learn more about China's entrepreneurship environment. The Innoway will become for a point of entrance to China for French companies and will offer high-quality innovative and entrepreneurial services.
A French Tech Tour, sponsored by Business France China and Bpifrance, was held from Oct 24 to Nov 4, taking company representatives to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing.
The tour offered opportunities for French innovative enterprises to learn more about the creative eco-system in China and to explore cooperation in technological development and marketing.
