The China Science and Culture Communication Industry Alliance (CSCCIA) was established at Zhongguancun Science Park in Beijing on Nov 19.
The alliance will support innovation and entrepreneurship strategies and promote the Belt and road initiative. It should also create new industrial chains and commercial activities, which will stimulate related enterprises in China.
The alliance was initiated by 58 scientific research institutes, universities, financial institutions, industrial associations and relevant enterprises including the Western Returned Scholars Foundation and Beijing CAS-Visual-Dimension Culture Technology Co. Ltd. It will offer scientific support to the development of culture, communication and industry and be a platform for breaking barriers and creating a new innovative cross-border system.
The first program the alliance will conduct will be the establishment of two demonstration areas for stereoscopic vision industrial technology applications intended to train technological talents to support industrial transformation and to promote the construction of an innovative scientific digitally cultured city.
Beijing CAS-Visual-Dimension Culture Technology Co. Ltd and Sunac China Holdings Limited plan to build a completely scientific town offering a newly designed living environment.
Beijing CAS-Visual-Dimension Culture Technology Co. Ltd will also cooperate with the Beijing Research Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology and Shanghai Kuzang Culture Investment Corporation to build an international scientific innovative experience base in Sanlitun, a prosperous commercial district in Beijing.
In addition, the alliance will develop a film company and a scientific culture communication foundation.
More than 200 experts and scholars from industry, including leaders from the Chinese Academy, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Association for Science and Technology, the China Industry-University-Research Institute Collaboration Association, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, attended the establishment ceremony.
