The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei big data industrial collaborative innovation platform was officially launched and Peking University and China Aviation Electronics Co., Ltd signed contracts with the platform on December 12 at the opening ceremony of the 2016 Zhongguancun Big Data Day event in Beijing.
The platform will provide intellectual and qualified personnel support for the development of the big data industry in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
Wang Na, the assistant inspector of the National Development and Reform Commission High-tech Division said, “As they constitute the first regional big data pilot zone, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei should all make good use of their respective advantages to support the establishment of a national big data industrial center.”
“Beijing will build big data cooperation among allies including Tianjin and Hebei to prompt programs like the settling down of JD Group and the Northern China Data Center through the platform,” Yv Jun, the governor of Haidian district said, adding that the Northern China Data Center has formed a big chain in terms of data platform and innovative application service.
Ban Ning, the assistant director of the Beijing Municipal Economic and Information Commission said, “The big data industry is one of the world’s focuses, and Beijing occupies a dominant position in terms of big data tools nationwide. Enterprises like Hybase and Joincheer have met international standards in analyzing and mining data visualization and AI applications.”
